Stop 30×30 Summit Wrap-up

“It was a room full of lions and no sheep,” was how one attendee summed up this year’s “Stop 30×30 Summit.”  Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller hosted the event that was packed with informative and entertaining speakers from across the country.

The highlight of the Summit was the world premiere of Epoch TV’s documentary “No Farmers No Food: Will You Eat the Bugs?”  Roman Balmakov, the host of Epoch TV’s program “Facts Matter” brought his entire production crew and staged a Red-Carpet event with several of the individuals featured in the film including three farmers from the Netherlands.

The documentary exposes the hidden agenda behind global “Green Policies,” the untold stories of farmers forced out of business, the disruption this will have on our food supply, and why edible bugs are suddenly being pushed to the fore as a “Global Green Solution.”

Even though most of the attendees were already aware of the attack on our food supply, they were stunned by the extent small landowners are being pushed off their land worldwide. One viewer from Tennessee described the film as “sobering” and “must watch.”

The Summit attendees were a cross section of urban and rural citizens, state and local elected officials, and concerned citizens seeking more information and answers.

“The information is invaluable; the speakers were top-notch, and the subjects were widespread. Everyone should be interested in learning what is going on,” commented Sonya Aston from Houston, Texas.

“This is the best opportunity to learn about the dangers to the American food supply and the government encroachment on private property rights. Lawmakers at all levels of government, public policy makers, farmers and ranchers, property owners, and grassroots activists would all benefit from learning how to stop 30 x 3,” remarked Liz Pickens from Abilene, Texas.

Already, watch parties are beginning to spring up in the attendee’s communities as they left determined to share what they learned. Three screenings are scheduled in Eastern New Mexico between October 23rd and the 26th and several more are being planned in Texas.

We owe our gratitude to all of our wonderful speakers and sponsors, including CFACT (Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow), United Country Real Estate, the nation’s largest land broker, Will Cavin of New Mexico, Davis Mountain Trans-Pecos Heritage Association, Kaiser Creek Ranch, Blue Ribbon Coalition, McIvor Ranch – Fort Davis, Texas, Kansas Natural Resources Coalition, Dr. Jon Spiers, Vic and Laura Hart Farms, Hart, Texas, Lois Garcia, La Barge, Wyoming, and Leininger Ranch, La Junta, Colorado.

Be watching over the next several weeks for video recordings of the main sessions.
