Our Story
The story of our founders exemplifies why we fight for American’s right to own property. We know first hand how difficult it is for citizens to protect their rights when government owns the land.
Our Impact
During our 30 plus year history, we have won some of the most important property rights battles our nation has faced. From defeating the first leg of the NAFTA Super-Highway Trans-Texas Corridor, to stoping the recent attempt to create Natural Asset Companies, we continue to be on the front lines of the efforts threatening our fundamental right to own property.

Our Mission
American Stewards of Liberty is a 501(c)(3) tax-deductible non-profit whose mission is to strengthen property rights and the liberties they secure by defending the use of our land and restoring local control. We protect our nation’s founding principles of limited government and self-rule by restoring our constitutionally guaranteed property rights.

Our Mission & Approach
Our mission is to strengthen property rights and the liberties they secure. We have three pillars of focus;
Focus One
to continue building the property rights Movement through alliances with like-minded organizations and policymakers to advance strategies that will restore our Constitutionally guaranteed property rights.
Focus Two
to equip citizens with the tools to educate and teach others why it is imperative that we the people own our nation’s natural resources to limit government over us.
Focus Three
we must mobilize the people to help stop the policies eroding property rights at the local, state and federal level.

Our purpose is to increase protections for property rights so that American citizens retain ownership of our land, limit government overreach and ensure we can produce the food, fiber, minerals, and energy necessary for human flourishing.

Build the property rights movement through alliances with like-minded organizations and policy makers to advance strategies that will restore our Constitutionally guaranteed property rights.
Equip citizens
Develop the tools that educate and equip others on the importance of American’s owning our nation’s resources so that we may limit government’s reach into our daily lives.

Alert and mobilize the people’s voice to help stop the policies eroding property rights at the local, state and federal level.
